When applying for a loan, your lender will need personal information from you to determine how much of a loan you can qualify for. The following is a list of all items that you will need to have available for your lender. This page is set up to allow for easy printing. Just follow your normal browser instructions for printing and you will have a reference sheet to use to gather your personal finance information. - A copy of the SALES CONTRACT, signed by all parties
including a copy of the deposited Ernest Money Check
- A check to put down the deposit for a credit report and
appraisal
- Social security numbers for all applicants
- Checking account number(s) and the addresse(s) of your bank(s)
- 3 month's bank statements for all checking and savings
accounts
- W-2's for the last 2 years
- The pay stubs for the most recent 2 months
- Mutual fund statements, account numbers and addresses
- Faces of any cad's or Savings Bonds with bank address
- Copy of current retirement fund statement, (if statement
not available, provide address and account number).
Include IRA & Keogh data
- Credit card references including account numbers,
balances, etc
- A list of any debts you have, with address and account
number, include automobile(s)
- If your auto is paid off, the free-and-clear title
- Name and address of employer(s) for the last two years
- If you presently own or have owned a home for the past
three (3) years, the name and address of the mortgage company
or lending institution, the loan number and the balance
- If you are obtaining your down payment from the sale of
your previous home, a copy of the closing statement is required
- If you are a tenant, the name, address, and phone number of your
landlord
- If you own another property, copies of your leases to
substantiate income derived from these properties
- If you own other property, copies of Deeds and Notes
- Divorce papers and property settlements if property was
owned during divorce. Proof of alimony or child support
is used as income
- A list of assets, including cars and furniture, with an
estimate of value
- If you are self-employed, tax returns for the last two
years in addition to a current profit and loss statement
and balance sheet
- Any bankruptcy judgment papers including original filing
and discharge
- VA Loans: Your certificate of eligibility, if you have one,
or a Statement of Service (DF2496) or Discharge Paper (DD214)
If currently in the military, you will need a DD1747
